Tada! The book that started it all! Everything begins here....well, actually not really but you'll get more into that. But this is where we all met and learned about the magic, and Avalon! Unfortunately for me, my first memory of meeting the mages included tunring into a ferret, being thrown into another world, getting hit on the head with a ball, getting my foot stuck in a steel trap, used as Lyra's chewing toy, being squashed by a giant purple fairy creature, tossed around a dark room where I'm hitting ceiling, floor, walls, doors, and other objects, falling into pits, nearly being eaten by dogs, almost being blown up by a Manticore, and ontop of everything, left to deal with three teenage girls! Yeah! I was off to a GREAT start!
