I personally hope Zach's parents will be reavealed in future stories. I'm really curious about them. Wouldn't it be awesome if Mr. Gardner was all like "Zach I Am Your Father!!!" Ha ha ha! Probablly not, but it'd still be great. Either that, or the Dark Sorceress could be his mom Can you imagine 'Career Day' at school? But in all seriousness, we don't know much about Zach's parents. Except apparently, a manticore killed 'em. (Or were they..? ) And their names, and that they liked watches, were human (Or were they..? No, I'm just kidding...Am I?) they lived in Aldenmore, and the Dark Soceress said something about them dabbling in black magic. (I think?) I don't remember, were they mages or not? Well obvisouly they must have had SOME magic in order to live in Aldenmore.
Hey how did they even get to Aldenmore there arn't any humans in aldenmore. Mabey mister gardner and Lucinda are his parents?????

Ha ha! That would also be awesome! But the names we have for them don't match up, unfortunately. Their names are given as Alexander and Graziela. Then again, I can't remember Mr. Gardener's first name, though I'm sure it was mentioned. Maybe Zach will somehow be related to one of them, like a nephew or a god-son?
Henry. Mr. Henry Gardner. And he is nt related to Zach in any way. But! Zach's parents, Lucinda, and MR. Gardner were all friends at one point I believe. All of them mages that had been put on the same quest as the girls. But since we were the first ones to actually achieve anything you can only imagined what broke them up.
I wonder.................... I wish that they would write another book maybe with Zachs parents in it ??
