... what would you do??? Seriously, I have this fantasy of making my own animated Avalon movie or series. It'll probably never happen because not only is animation time-consuming and expensive, but I'm not very good at it...
But reality aside, what would you do if you were directing the Avalon movie?! Who would you cast as voice actors, or will you go live action? What type of style movie would it be? Anime, American, etc.
Yeah, so me, if I was directing, it would be traditionally animated, flat not 3D. I'd go for the look of Allison Strom's artwork for the series. I'd try to do anime, but honestly I can't. Everything I draw tends to look like Disney. And I'd want the backgrounds to be very lush and green, and I'd get real ordinary kids for the voice acting. Except the Dark Sorceress, she should have a big celebrity voice actor! Of course Ozzie would be the real star and go to all the red carpet events and award shows and such!
Oh yes, and I'd have Celtic music. I probably wouldn't go so far as bagpipes. (Image of Ozzie wearing a kilt...) But I would definitely have an Irish flare to it! Because not only is Celtic music awesome, but Avalon is an old Celtic word, and the whole Avalon world just has a Celtic flavor about it in my opinion.
